We went to Werribee Mansion today for a spa treatment (Rafe's b'day present) and wandered the grounds a little. The laundry house was all set up to display items used in the laundry around the 1870's.

My much neglected "Word tank" is about to get another work out. We have the brother of a Japanese friend staying with us until he finds a sharehouse.

And yes, yesterday there was no post. That's because yesterday didn't exist! Or rather my brain didn't. Complete brain fugue which thankfully seems to be over.

It's zen_cat's birthday today, so after work we went to a delicious pizzeria. This was the oh-so-yummy dessert pizza...mmmmmm.

No PAD yesterday - too busy completely crashing from the night before. Just cannot do late nights anymore. Hate to think how non-functional I'll be sleep-depped with children!

We went to a black tie do at Ballara (zen_cat's folks' place. William Hennessey and Katherine Brockman, two musicians from the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra were performing and Sue (Rafe's mum) prepared a full sit down dinner for 24 people. As usual, she outdid herself, and anything anyone else could hope to emulate! Our fridge is still groaning from the leftovers we brought home :-)

Another one of my cat ornaments...these will keep me busy for a number of "what am I going to do today I'm so tired what's something quick" nights!

I did take it on Saturday, at about 11:30PM! It may not be realistic for me to post on the weekend, but I will continue taking them and updating during the week. (I figure a bit of self-leniency is order here, otherwise if I try and be as strict with myself as I was before, PAD will stop yet again for an indefinite time!)

My beautiful "Ophelia" lamp. When I first saw this lamp many years ago, I immediately thought of Ophelia and had to have it. It has been one of my most prized posessions ever since. (Yes, I'm still very tired and grasping for inspiration tonight!)

We went to the Docklands for a family celebration of zen_cat's birthday, a week early. I intended the photograph the AMAZING seafood platter we had, but once it appeared, I forgot all about my intentions until the platter was completely bare. Oh well. It was a sumptious, sumptious meal.

And because once I get going, I can't really stop at one...
